Get fit on a budget

Get fit on a budget
There`s no need for a gym membership

Staying fit or even loosing weight is a challenge its self.  With so many things do like working, going to school and meeting other obligations in your personal life it’s easy to find a million reason not to workout.  I am sharing a few wallet friendly ideas that will allow you to stay in shape while saving money.

1. Buy a couple workout DVD`s or watch videos on YouTube-  If you think about it buying a couple DVD`s will last you a lifetime and you can use them over and over.
Having a set of workout DVD`s give you access to a 24/7 free gym in the comfort of your home.  You may also need a mat and couple weights that will make your workouts more challenging.  YouTube videos are free and there are several youtubers who have great workout routines that will definitely save you money.  My personal favorites are the Jillian Michaels DVD`s, Mari Winsor cardio Pilates, and the One Day Fat blast by the Tone It Up Girls on YouTube.

2. Download apps on you smartphone – Smartphones can do almost anything.  There are several apps that will help you stay healthy. Nike Training Club (NTC) is an amazing app that gives you the option of choosing several workouts that will either tone your body in 30-45 minutes or choose a focus workout that last about 15 minutes. Additionally you have the choice to use your music playlist during the workout. Just incase you are not familiar with certain exercises; NTC also shows a quick demonstration. I use this workout on the days when I want to get a quick workout in before starting my day.

3. Start training for a marathon or RUN- Running/jogging around your neighborhood is a quick way to stay active and ITS FREE. If you want to keep track of your progress I would suggest downloading the NIKE + running app that track your distance and calories burn. Running for a cause is a great way to stay in shape. By training for a 5K Marathon or Half marathon gives you a reason or a challenge for yourself not only to stay active but also making a difference.

The Timeless Letters

September 22, 2013 4 Comments

The Timeless Letters
open when you're...

"The sweetest Of all"

Here is an idea! Inspired by a special friend of mines...
Ever thought of writing a special someone a letter... for your girlfriend or a boyfriend? Well how about writing them a letter that they can open and reopen over and over continuously  whenever they feel the need to.

As I'm sitting here writing, this quickly reminds me of How I love a man who writes, for the longest I've always dreamed of my perfect soul mate is the one who will write me a letter everyday for the rest of my life, odd and insane as it may sounds, but needless to say, It's evident I'm in love with Love... sentimental love! that is.

In the midst of my rambling, back to our IDEA! So I'm sure you're probably wondering well what would be the "need to" open these letters... right?  well here a few, "Open when you need to know how much I love you, open when you don't feel beautiful, open when you need a laugh, open when you miss me, open when you feel like crying, open when you need strength, open when you're mad at me, open when you need a date night, etc.

Yes, Indeed! possibly the best gift a boyfriend or girlfriend could give ❤

It is very VERY important to remember that Love is CONSTANT, so therefore it is imperative that we remind the ones we love of how much we love them, or how much they mean to us, how much we appreciate them, and how much we honor them.  Many of us feel as though the person should already knows and therefore there's no need to keep telling them; but we actually do! Love should always be  a constant Reminder, Just as God who is the define definition of love, Loves us and is constantly reminding us, either through scriptures or through others, we too should Love like him, for that is Truest Of True Love.

For this reminds of me of this scripture.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Focusing on this verse strengthens my resolve to be a better person. It shows me that when I act with envy or am easily angered, I’m not acting from a place of love. If I’m not patient or kind, I’m not loving. If I always go back to love, then I cannot fail. I can only protect, trust, hope and persevere.

I hope this means to you, as  much as it means to me....
Inspired by and Dedicated to Rosenie St Louis, a true Lover, whom I've loved and will continue to Love more than the sun knows how to shine ❤

From, Your friend and sister in Christ from this world and to the next....

XO, Bianca

Making a SPECIAL Journal

September 17, 2013 2 Comments

Making a Special Journal
I'm actually using all three at once... a bit odd.
Not just any Journal! One that is specially for happy, joyful, and even funny moments in your life. The point is, those moments  that we cherish in our hearts when saved in writing can be used as a Personal life book, a book of stories based on your own experiences storing the best moments of your life. As you write your memorable stories make sure to keep the dates labeled; so that when your children are of the ages of understanding we can use our stories as bed time stories. Instead of buying numerous books at the store you can read them your very own self written stories.

Share with them moments of your life that made you the person you are today. You may find that your kids may even save your journals to share with their kids, and for many generations.

Of course when reading to your child you have to tampered with the stories a lot based your child's age, but as they become older and have a bit more understanding,  you may read it to them as they've written. But I'm for certain that they will definitely enjoy knowing about the most memorable keepsake memories of mommy and daddy's life.

REMEMBER: As you write, do keep in my mind, someday you may be reading these stories to your kids, Therefore, It is best to keep them short, and legibly written for the sake of you understanding what you've written and as children has a short attention span. Also, I suggest to Tittle your stories, and if desire to; have a  similar catchy beginning or ending or rather BOTH on all of your stories, that way the child can know that this is definitely  mommy or daddy Stories... Good luck.

Places for best Journals are your Local christian book stores
and Barns and Noble.

Busy Bee

September 15, 2013 0 Comments

Like trains of cars on tracks of plush I hear the level bee: A jar across the flowers goes, Their velvet masonry   Withstands until the sweet assault Their chivalry consumes, While he, victorious, tilts away To vanquish other blooms.   His feet are shod with gauze, His helmet is of gold; His breast, a single onyx With chrysoprase, inlaid.   His labor is a chant, His idleness a tune; Oh, for a bee's experience Of clovers and of noon!
Emily Dickinson
